IC is the abbreviation of Industry Canada, the Ministry of Industry of Canada. As a government agency, IC is responsible for the certification of electronic and electrical products entering the Canadian market. Its products are roughly divided into: radio and television equipment, information technology equipment, radio equipment, telecommunications equipment, engineering medical equipment, etc.

Similar to the FCC in the United States, IC only limits electromagnetic interference at present.

Authentication method:

Self verification and Certification can be used.

IC ID: CN (Company Number, up to 6 digits)+UPN (Unique Product Number, up to 8 digits).

Notice for ID application:

1. The address information of the Canadian representative is required.

2. The label shall contain the following information (manufacturer's name or trademark, model name, IC ID number).

Relevant standards for IC certification:

The IC certification standard is basically consistent with that of FCC. At present, IC only limits electromagnetic interference.

ICES-001 analog equipment: Industrial, Scientific and Medical Radio Frequency Generators.

ICES-003 digital terminal equipment: Interference Causing Equipment Standards Digital Apparatus, such as ICES003: ITE: products and computer peripheral office equipment.

IC RSS Series transmitting and receiving equipment low-power RF products. For example: RSS 210, applicable products: wireless mouse and keyboard, wireless remote control toys and various low-power wireless RF products, CS03 (PSTN, a telecom terminal product).
